Grand Theft Auto VI releases on Thursday, November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. I've been following this game since the first trailer broke the internet in December 2023. Thirteen years after GTA 5 — a game that sold over 200 million copies and is still in America's console top 5 — Rockstar has everything to prove and nothing to prove at the same time. The price stings, the PC wait will sting more, but Leonida looks like the most ambitious open world ever built. November 19 can't come fast enough.
